Adelphi University: Examining the intersecting identities of Black and Jewish: Building alliances and shared struggles

AUSSW Community:

You’re invited to this facilitated forum that focuses on how folks with multiple identities (specifically Jewish and Black) negotiate their intersecting identities with the aim of examining, what bell hooks refers to as, a legacy of shared struggles between [non-Jewish] Black and White Jewish peoples in the context of white supremacy. We will discuss ways in which we can learn to build alliances to address systemic racism and antisemitism.
