Introducing The Center for Rehabilitation & Recovery's Grief & Resilience Collaborative

"It's been tough" is such an understatement. In honoring our experience of losses, changes, and challenges, The Coalition for Behavioral Health warmly invites you to join us for the Grief & Resilience Collaborative, a training and support initiative for staff of behavioral health programs throughout New York State.

We are here to support you through this difficult time whether your role is in reception, group and individual counseling, building maintenance, the healing arts, billing, peer support, advocacy, food service, executive leadership, care management, everything in between and beyond! Our initiative will be inclusive of diverse perspectives from faith communities, artists, and alternative healing outlets. We will feature topics ranging from children to older adults; grief, loss and resiliency; wellness and self-care; team dynamics, and supervision.

We hope you will watch our introductory video, sign up for our mailing list and upcoming events, and stay tuned for more details which will unfold soon. We hope you will share widely with fellow colleagues. We will soon be releasing additional descriptions of more upcoming trainings and events.

Faced with waves of public health, economic, and racial crises, we dedicate ourselves daily to the healing of our communities, while also navigating our own experience of loss and resilience. Please join us in understanding the connection among our work, our identity, and where each of us are in experiencing grief, resilience, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
